  RTC - Role Tailored Client - you cannot access RTC, you can only run RTC and connect it (access) NST - NAV Service Tier... :-k
  
  Do you mean to run RTC and connect to another NST running on different PC?

  Install the NST on another PC, set it up (where it will look for the database), run the RTC, select the server through menu - "Microsoft Dynamics NAV - Select Server".
