Received 19 Only

Hi ,

I created a item Pen ..

Unit of measures are Pcs, Box = 20

Base UOM = PCS.

I created a purchased order for Item Pen

Qty = 5 UOM = BOX.( That means i have to receive 5 * 20 = 100)_

I received 5 Boxes , But each box contain 19.

That means i received 95.

So how to dothis In navision ?

Even i try to enter in Qty( Base) field, qty to receive (base ) field.

But system throw some error "

Qty to Unit of measure Must be always 1 "

So how to do this innavision ?

Please suggest me.

You need to create a seprate UOM or receive in Base UOM

Mr Ssingla,

I have to receive in BOXES.

But Boxes does not have proper qty which i defined in Unit of measure table.

That means 1 Box = 20 ( so 5 boxes has 100)
But now i receved 5 Boxes( but 95, that means each Box contain only 19)

So how to do this?

Create a new UOM :
Code : Box19
Qty. per Unit of measure : 19

why do you HAVE to receive in boxes?

As stated above you cannot use BOX as your UOM since you defined BOX already as 20.

for 19 you'll need to create a new UOM (unless the box amount will ALWAYS be 19)

But i'm assuming it was a error in packing.

Personally I would change the UOM to PCS and receive the 95. Then contact the Manufacturer to send another 5.
then add the 5 pcs to the po & receive that so it would be complete.
