Hi all,

I'm trying Navision 2009 virtual lab by MS, but I can't create new page because I haven't permission to do this with my developer license (page are new object...).

How can I try this new feature?

You will have to have the person that is responsible for your developer license get with Microsoft and have it updated to NAV2009.

    Hi Daniel,
We're partners for Microsoft and we have the developers license valid till March 2010. I'm currently downloading the new CTP4 for NAV 2009. If I wish to develop forms using the page designer, do I have to contact Microsoft again and get my license updated to include the Page Designer module in it?

    Thank you in advance..

    indeed.

It has nothing to do with "how long your license is valid", but Microsoft has to add additional permissions to the license (i.e. page designer and stuff).

It depends on whether your license already has access to NAV2009 specific things. I don't know if page objects are included in your license, you should try. If they are not in your license, then obviously you need to have it updated.

the granule Dynamics Server will be added, which includes the granule Rolecenter. Also, the page designer will be added.

There's no granule ID, you will have to have your developer license updated for NAV2009 and they will add whatever is necessary.

Will MS update our developer licence at no extra cost if we ask them, or what's involved!?

    Hello,

They passed student licenses out at the NAV 2009 training class that followed Directions 2008. I would think they would be somehow available to Certified partners, but maybe you need to do the class ... it's definitely worthwhile!

    Well, they are wrong.
If you're a certified partner, I see no reason why you should not get it... .
