Recurring Journal Test Report in 5.0 SP1 - nothing printing

I'm attempting to print a test report from the recurring journal prior to posting, but nothing is happening. I've tried with and without a posting date in the report options, as well as verifying that the journal template and journal batch names are correct. Please help, this is a pain.

    Does nothing is happening mean you don't even get the report header?

    Or is it that you are not getting any lines on the report.

    here's a test of the Test Report.
    Add a new line
    RRecurring 1M
    Posting Date 08/01/2008
    Doc Type - Invoice
    Doc No - "Blah"
    Account type vendor
    Account No - Any Vendor
    Amount = .01

    run the test report You should get something.
    don't add any filters!
    Journal Template Name & Journal Batch name should be autofilled already

    Well the test worked... perhaps it's the lack of a document number (I thought she had this but it turns out she didn't). Also, a doc type isn't required if just making GL entries, correct?

    New problem, now we can't post either, it's saying there isn't anything to post. I'm going to try to get the contents of the journal in here... any tips on that soon-to-be disaster would be appreciated :)

    the recurring journal will only post entries with today's date & back. If you try to post an entry on the 29th with a date of the 30th it won't post.
