i think it would be dependent on the hardware requ. of the used SQL Server (2005 or 2008), the used sharepoint server or your used IIS Server, etc.

For the client, i think, it would be the same like under 4.xx / 5.xx

There are 3 tiers which can run on 3 machines.

    1. SQL Server - Same requirements as today

    2. Middle (app) tier - No one knows. 2009 does not use IIS or sharepoint. It runs it's own windows service

    3. Clients - Probably normal Vista/XP requirements

i know, that the Vers 2009 not use the IIS or Sharepouint per default. But you can use it with NAV 2009. For example with the reporting service. But this is out of the box. For the Middle (app) tier your'e right, nobody know the requirement.

NAV 2009 does not use reporting services, but RDLC to render XML files on the client.

You can use reporting services like today on SQL but then you'ld have to develop queries and flowfield solutions yourself.

Correct, let me know if you have any question to this? Or spot an error, then I will update if needed.
    Thanks,
