[solved] Cancel finished production order

Does anybody know:
Is there a way to cancel a finished production order?

The reason behind is:
An item 1 was created with a BOM. The BOM contained item 1 by mistake.
A production order was created for item 1. I do not know exactly what happened in this moment. I just can check the result and the unit cost of the finished good item 1 looks horrible. The finished good 1 has been sold already.

So I thought it would be easiest to reverse that finished production order. But there is no way to do so. Or do you know one?

No way to reverse the finished production order.

Use a revaluation journal to revalue the cost of teh item sold as a starting point.

That`s what I thought. Thank you anyway. The item was sold immediatelly. The production order get finished the same day the item was sold and invoiced.

This sales invoice screwed up our stock and cogs completelly. So we started to credit the invoice which washes out the tremendous figures in inventory and cogs pretty much.

It shouldn't be possible to consume the parent item in a production order if it isn't a multilevel production order. However in earilier version this is possible. I think there is a hotfix for this problem maybe you should implement it so that this doesn't happen again.
