Time for another name change!
Nav 2009 formerly Nav 6.0 formerly NAV 5.1
Kinda like the artist formerly known as Prince is now Prince again.
Maybe we should start betting on how many name changes there will be before it is finally released!

I think the internal name will still be version 6. The marketing name is Nav 2009 in keeping with the external marketing conventions for Office products.David Machanick

That would sound much better than using version numbers. It's also consistent with the naming of other Microsoft products.

Jupp, on Cebit a big theme was "Green IT". :-D

Lets try "Never" - thought it was dropped as a project. The art of teaching is clarity and the art of learning is to listen0

i agree with Blackie. By the time it hits the market, if it does, it's definitely gonna be an entire different product than what most of us would imagine.

The only thing I can think of when reading about the new product is... how am I going to Read The Freaking Manual when the product keeps changing?
Green, 5.1, 6.0, now NAV2009... ARGH!0 -
Remember when they came out with 'Attain'? I run into a lot of people that call the app lots of different things, with lots of different pronounciations, and NOBODY ever calls it "Attain" anymore.
Maybe we (as in Mibuso/DUG members) should come up with code names for 'the next version'. That way MS can change the name all they want, but we'd still be talking about the same thing.0 -
Why to create new code names when we have "official" one.
NAV 2009 (2008)
"Malta" (2009)
"Mallorca" (2010)
