Hello,
I want to know if I may use SMTP codeunit in NAV5.0 without having MS Outlook installed (this is because my company works with Lotus Notes <-- a handicap in Navision).
I try to send an e-mail to a customer (clicking in the mail icon) in the NAV5.0 demonstration version but NAV5.0 demands MS Outlook
Thanks in advance
Nacho

Hello Nacho,
Have you tried sending a mail with SMTP?
Sending a mail with "CU 400 SMTP Mail" is not related to Outlook and not related to the code of the mail icon/button on Customer Card (correct me if i'm wrong).
Before you use "CU 400 SMTP Mail" you need to setup a SMTP server on form "409 SMTP Mail Setup".Met vriendelijke groet, best regards,
