client moniter.

Hi to everybody,

What is the purpose of client moniter?
I run client moniter i searched for help on each field. No use. That's
iam putting here my question.
When i run client moniter some fields had update.
1.Function name
2.Parameter no
3.parameter( In parameter u have different fields Table, Search Method,Key, Filter,Souce Object,Source trigger, Souce lineno, source text,record found, records read , elapsed time)
4.NO
5.Data( this showing some id of table, form)

Could explain what is the purpose of this client moniter and each field.

I would be very thankful if I cud get as many suggestions as early as possible

    Client monitor shows you the communication of the client and DB Server. What you see are the informations about that. If you want to use client monitor, I recommend to use "extended" client monitor which is part of the Performance Troubleshooting guide on MBS Tools cd in implementation tools. There is the documentation and some examples of usage too.

    Some info is also available in the w1w1adg.pdf manual (available in the Doc-folder on the Product CD), chapter 8.3 What is a Virtual Table.
    The Monitor Virtual Table is discussed with an explanation of all the fields in that table, and the Client monitor form is discussed with the tabs General & Options.
