NAV 4.0 SP1 Item Card Decimal Places

SkolnickSkolnick Member Posts: 31
On our invoicing tab for the item card for a new company, all the fields do not allow for decimal places. We use USD for currency and would like to go to two decimal places for pricing ($0.00). We are allowed only whole dollars ($0).

Could someone give me some insight on setting up decemal places in 4.0 SP!?

Thank you!!

I believe it is a modification on item table for those fields. Standard navision allows decimal places, and there is no setup for this property.

You are wrong, there is setup. If you look into properties of those fields, there is AutoFormatType = 2 - it means it will be formated as you setup for Unit Amount in G/L Setup... (field Unit-Amount Rounding Precision)

    Hi,
I've just successfully made until 10 digit of decimal places of qty field on production BOM line through qty field property list named decimal places after press Ctrl+F12 then Shift+F4. So, I think decimal places in the item card in invoicing tab , can be set by using the same method as above.

Although doing this solved your specific issue, in this case Kine is right, this is a general setup issue of the precision setting in G/L Setup.
