hi,

could it be possible to make a transfer order without using a transit location. cause when items are transferred through a transit location they get transferred at the transit's location average cost.

No, you can only use journal to transfer items between locations without in-transit loc. But not Transfer Order (by design)

I don't think that in-transit code doesn't need in making transfer order because you need in-transit code as a mean in transferring.
Except you change the C/AL code and make a new transfer order. Also, either you transfer to other location from your current location, the inventory total qty will not change. Only the location is different

Yes , you possible to create transfer order without in-transit code.

You can use item reclass journal for that.

but reclass journal doesn't have document, so you must create one.
