4.0 Problem: Item Journal Line NOT COMPILED?

Hi,
I have just recently upgraded from 3.7 to 4.0 and am currently testing the database to make sure that everything works properly. So far, all functionalities work fine except one.
When testing the Employee Card on HR module, when i wanted to rename the "No." field, i got the "Item Journal Line Not Compiled" error.
The Item Journal Line table is compiled properly, i even went back to compile again to make sure. Moreover, Item Journal Line table was used in other functionalities and has not created any problem.
I just do not know why it happens during the renaming of "No." in Employee card....has anyone ever encountered this problem?
And what does Item Journal Line table has to do with Employee card anyway? :?
Thank you in advanced for your suggestion and help.

Here is my suggestion. Recompile everything. Log out of db and if it's a server, restart it. Login and try again.
If you get compilation errors for automation objects not registered disregard them. Fix everything else.0 -
i tried, but still the same problem #-o
Thank you,

One tip: The name of the object which you can see is Caption! It means, that it can be another object than "Item Journal Line". It can be some table which is copy of this object and is only renamed, but the caption was not changed. Try to filter all tables which are not compiled and check their captions.0

I suggested him to recompile everything. So that should have recompiled all the tables.0

I forgot... :-) but may be that from some reason there was some filter when recompiling.. 8)0

Just try it with the Debugger active. It'll point you to what the problem is.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

Maybe somebody put some code on rename trigger to give the user the error error('tem Journal Line Not Compiled'); :twisted:0
