hi all we just upgraded the memory on our navision server and i need to run the application on the server to increase the DBMS cache.

when i run the navision application file on the navision server i am getting a weird error message

There was an error in the text conversion. blah blah blah before even the application runs, it says it's a .stx file issue

does anyone know anything about this? thanks i appreciate it

Navision Server is not able to use more than 700MB of RAM. If you will try use more, you can have errors about some different things ...

I usually use 880 MByte of RAM on navision server installations. On some hardware circumstance and Navision server >= 3.70 (but i don't know why), 1 Gbyte works perfectly, on some other configuration not more than 850 Mbyte...

Yes, the 700 is sure, 800 is commonly working, 1GB sometimes works.. :-)
