Hi Luc --

First - Thankyou very much for this great site - I have some ideas - Any feedback from other members would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be possible to let the "Topic Starter" "Close" his or hers tread when he/she felt, that the issue was covered.

And when closing a thread, also would put in in a new category "Closed Treads - Navision Financials"?? ect... - Maby wait a week before doing so ??

Just a few ideas? pls give me (and the moderator) some feedback, as I don't want Luc to do a lot of work, if I'm the only one who thinks it would be smart <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />

    Hi Henrik,

Closing threads is, in this version of the discussion board software, an action that can only be performed by the Moderator. Maybe in a next release they will change this behaviour.

Instead of a new category "Closed threads", the software has archives built-in. The Administrator can create those archives based on eg. the date criteria. The messages will then be removed from the main forums. It is however possible to search through those archived-messages, by using the search-form. I haven't archived any messages yet.

And for the sake of good order: Moderator = Luc Van Dyck.
I use the Moderator-handle when I am 'on duty', to assist users on the forum. I use my name when participating in, or starting new discussions.
