Monthly closing

Hi,

I have created a year with 12 period each period reflecting a month.
Is it possible to close these periods month wise?

hi Ramya...

The answer is "no" when you've created a year wth period as 12..
however You can have the period as 1 and the closing is done automatically for that month.....(very tedious)
but the question is why do you want to close every month???

If you want this to prevent people from posting into the previous month you can set the "Allow Posting From" & "Allow Posting To" date fields in the G/L Setup
