Item Tracking

Hi Everybody.
I am using Navision 3.7. Can anybody explain me how to use the item tracking option. Is there any writeup on the same.
We create prodn orders from sales orders. the lot nos. must be carried throughout from prodn till the shipments and invoice is made.

select an item and set item tracking code to lotall.
Create a sales order for this item with quantity . click on line and item tracking lines. Set the lot no and quantity. Close the form. Click on on order button then on planning, then on function button, then create production order.

Hi,
I do the same, but I get an error "Cannot match item tracking" when i click on create prodcution order option.

It works in 4.0. I also tested this in 3.7 B and it got the same error. Maybe you can compare the codeunits and load the improvements to 3.7B.
