Dear Friends,
I am getting an error message when ever I go to the design mode of the forms.
Its showing the error as "You do not have the permission to read the 'Company Information' Form. Contact the system manger if you need to have your permission changed".
I have copied fin.flf in the Client folder. Even then its showing the error.
What else I have to do.
Regards,
N.Sridhar

You either do not have permissions to access the form design, or it's not in your license.0

Are you logging in as a Super user? If you are it's a licence issue as Denster said.Julian Harper

Until yesterday I was using the license file. I was allowed into the design mode, but to day I cant.
I copied the fin.flf (License Expires 2-11-2006) in the client folder.
But, when I saw the license information (Tools>>License Information)it is showing the CRONUS.flf information.
I want to use fin.flf and not CRONUS.flf. What I have to do?

Is it a stand-alone Navision database, Navision Database Server or a SQL Server option for Navision ?0

Its a stand alone installation0

Its a stand alone Navision Database

In that case make sure your real fin.flf licence is in your Navision Client folder and start up Navision.Julian Harper

Yes Harper both CRONUS.flf and fin.flf are in the client folder.
Do I have to delete teh CRONUS.flf file fron the folder?
N.Sridhar0 -
No there not need to delete it. Fin.flf is the default licence file, if there is a file in the Navision client/server folder it will load this first, otherwise it will load/create the cronus.flf file and load that.Julian Harper

Take the Cronus.FLF out and put in your license file and rename it CRONUS.FLF. If you et an error saying "License has expired" hen go into the client folder go to the CRONUS.FLF file you just renamed and take off the .FLF.
This should bring up your file when you start up Navision0 -
Hi Ataris,
I have tried that even then I m getting the error(Your program license has expired)
N.Sridhar0 -
Sorry, if you have expired license, it is not possible to use it... :!:
Of course, in TIME BEFORE expiring you CAN use the license file without problems...0
