You the X-button to close the Navision-window?
If it doesn't happen, does it give a message? Or what does it do?Regards,Alain Krikilion

If navision crashes it normaly returns an errormessage with a module like
Internal error 2 in module 19.
With this info you can search this forum.0 -
No, is it bug or something ??
We don't want it happen.
It doesn't give any message....closed automatically, disappear .. just like that.
Thanx.0 -
If it is easy to reproduce you can debug the process.
Otherwise you may want to check the windows-log for strange messages.0 -
You're going to have to give us more information than that. There are about 7362 buttons in Navision (by my latest count
), and we need to know which one automatically closes Navision.

Sorry for the less information.
Some case (another computer), it happen to any button.
Another case (another computer), it happen only to one button (i create it)
But in another case (another computer), it doesn't happen.
But it never happen to me.
Thank you.0 -
Have you tried to use your login on the other computers and in this case, it still happens?
If Yes => something is wrong with the computers. Best thing is to re-install Navision and check if it is ok, if not=>re-install the computer.
If No => something is wrong with the code you run with the different users.Regards,Alain Krikilion

Do these computers use the same type of graphics card? If so, then the driver needs updating or you have to replace the card. There is a sure way to know if it's the graphics card. Go to Control Panel-->Display-->Settings-->Advanced-->Troubleshoot, and disable "Hardware acceleration", and see if the problem reappears.
I had a similar problem, not with Navision, but a third party report designer. While working on the program, it simply disappears from the screen without any error messages. This does not happen during Print Preview or printing so it's not caused by a fault in the printer's driver. This was under Windows 98, and strangely only happens with this program.
So usually crashes like these are caused by graphics cards or printer drivers. If the button or menu item is print or print review related, then it's the printer driver, if not then it might be the graphics card.
Good luck...Naji Shaman

Are these ATI Graphic cards by any chance? If so, get rid of them if the latest driver update doesn't fix this problem.Naji Shaman

Hi.
It happen again without prompt, but different case.
I create a report with request form, and i put a tablebox. If you add a textbox(s), i put 2 text boxes to that tablebox and fit both with width of tablebox. I save it and run but when i close it, error....finsql.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyone can explain this ?
Thanx in advance.0
