Restore FBK taking too long...

Lads,
for somtime now whenever I launch a restore on our TEST system, it takes hours while the same action in PROD takes just a few minutes.

I have noticed that in our TEST system, the CPU reaches 50% and it is restricted to that amount of CPU over the entire restore process.

It really looks like a fixed limitation somewhere but I cannot find out where.

Does anyone know anything about this?

    Check the disks. It the CPU is not at full, the bottleneck is somewhere else - for example writing to disks. Check the Write Command Queue length for the disks.

    if you have 2 CPU's or 1 CPU with hyperthreading, or 1 dual-core CPU etc, it will show as 50% - Navision only makes use of 1 cpu, so total usage is 100% for that cpu, which can be a bottleneck.
