standard color for not editable fields

When a user has set it's standard Windows display-appearance-theme to Windows-classic, it is very clear to see the difference between an editable or a not-editable field in Navision. When the appearance-theme has been set to Windows-XP the user does not see the difference between an editable or a not-editable field at first sight.
Is there any kind of settings-alternative for this, or is the only solution to change te Navision-color-properties for every single form?

I am using the XP style without problems. Are you setting the Editable or Disabled property? are you changing this in C/AL code?

    Hi,
I found only one possibility - change appearance color theme.

Kine, what i mean is standard Navision for example on the item card: the field Last Date Modified has a grey border. The editable field Shelf No has a blue border. The user has to take a good look to notice this difference. When using the classis theme, not only the border is grey but the background of editable fileds is completely grey. For users this is much clearer.
Gedas, for other applications the user wants to use XP-theme, but for Navision this is not user-friendly for them, and we don't want to change all the field-properties on every form. So i would like to know if there is another solution.

I do not know, but on my XP style is "Last Date Modified" with gray background and the "Shelf no." with white background. No problem for me... But one question: Are you using Original XP style, with Blue start bar or you have another XP style with Silver Start bar (or another style, some laptop manufacturers are modifying the default style etc.). I can send you screenshot if you want...

I use standard blue XP style, and all of our customers i've seen so far have the same appearance as myself, and we don't see a different back-color. Only a slightly different border color. I'm very curious how your screen lookes so please send me a screenshot

On my laptop I can change the contrast and gamma properties (advanced properties in the appearance themes) so the difference is much clearer now. But on my desktop PC (Dell Dimension 3100) there are no appearance-settings for that.
