Transfer serial items between 2 bins

Hi all!

Can someone explain me the detail process :

1. To transfer some serialised items from bin B1 ( From location A) to bin B2 ( To location A) ?

2. To transfer some serialised items from bin B1 ( From location A) to bin B2 ( To location ?

What I did is to use the "Item reclassification journal" for that, but I ended up with this error message when I try to post:

"You must specify New serial No in Item journal line journal template name = "RECLASS" , journal batch name = "DEFAULT" , line no ="10000" "

How come do I have to put new serial no's as I just want to move existing serial nos from bin B1 to bin B2 in the same location ??
3. is there a way to block a transfer form one location to another one? Lest say when I create a transfer , i dont want a user to be able to transfer goods from my customer warehouse to my own warehouse ( or vice versa)??

Enter same ser no. as new ser no. :-)

The reclassification journal can be used for changing lot no and ser no. You need to say "I want the same ser no. as old one...".

in Navision 4.0 use a transfer order instead, it will have the columns in the detail lines, for transfer-from-bin-code and transfer-to-bin-code
