Table 6505 can be empty based on Item tracking setup. Most client don't fill that field. It a setup in Item trackign whether the user has to fill the Lot No. Information table. Plus the quantity field in that table looks back in Item ledger. So the item ledger has the historical data on a lot. Also if you use warehouse management, the warehouse entry will have addition data.

Could someone tell me what setting on the Item Tracking Code ensures the Lot No. Information table is populated?
I have everything set on Lot No. tab on my Item Tracking Code, apart from Warehouse Tracking and it still does not get populated for me.
It only seems to get populated when I view the Lot No. Information for an item from the Item Card - Entries - Item Tracking Lines menu option.
I need to implement a change whereby lots are not eligible to be reserved for an item if the status is blocked. To implement this I obviously need to guarantee that there will always be an entry in this table for ALL lots. Has anybody implemented this change before, whereby Lot No. Information table always contains an entry for all lots generated?

However, the data is in table 6505 (Lot No. Information):
Key = Item No, Variant Code, Lot No.
