Using Basic Dimensions in Nav4

Hi all!

I have a problem when closinf my ficsal year. The entry created by Navision does not take into accounts both global dimensions that I use: DEP and HAN. It just use one.

Any help please?

    on the close income statement batch job

    on the options tab.

    at the bottom is a field labled, demensions, you should be able to click on that and select the dimension.

    if you don't select this then only one entry will be created for each account, which is what sounds like it happening to you.

    On edit, never mind I just tried it and it is not making entries for my database either, just one entry for each department, but ignoring the project code dimension completly.

    I did what you said but all entries created in the general journal does not show the dimension name for one dimension.
    It looks like the refresh ( when creating entries) is nit working well as calculation is correct.

    How to correct that??
    BTW it's happen elsewhere in Navision/ ( i.e the field "Amount" on the Purchase invoice list does not populate sometimes amounts.
