Are you sure you're opening the right database? Also does the username exist within that database?

And you're sure the username/pass is valid? Have you tried another one?

    1) What does it mean "fther copy server.exe from cd"? Does it mean that you copied the file somewhere and you are running the server.exe? Or what?

    2) There is Server Name and Database Name. When you want to connect to Native server, you need fill Server Name and leave the Database Name empty. If you want to open some database file in single user mode, you will fill the database name with the file name and leave the Server name empty.

Usually that means that the user and/or password that you used to get into the database are invalid. You can only open the database with a user that is entered as either a windows login or as a database login, and with the right password. The only way to get into a database without user credentials is restoring a backup into a new database.

You need to download the demostration company and choose the option Custom I think. I did this sometime back but i was choosing Typical when downloading and it wasn't downloading everything and so when it came to opening the company I to also got the username and password.

Put in the Navision cd and run it. Go to Demo sction and download choosing Custom I think. There are 3 options, Typical, Custom and Complete. Choose the middle one. Once it downloads it should take you staright into Cronus.

I cann´t open database, I saw that the service was stopped because server.exe has dissapear. I copy server.exe from cd and run the service Microsoft Bussiness Solution. Now when I start Navision tell me thar "user and pasword joint are invalidate, try again.

Alright well if you looking for a service you might have not installed it or have uninstalled it.

Check which file the server.exe file is in. If you don't have the file do a repair. this should install the server.exe in again. Go to command promt line and bring up folder which server files are in and write the following.

server servername="Name of Server", nettype=tcp, commtcache =yes, database="path to database" example(c:\server\database.fdb). Press enter.
Then install the service by saying: server installasservice
Then start the service by saying: net start server "servername"

Once the service is started bring up navision and in the database server field type in the servername. Remember to put in a port number in the services file. This can be found at system32\drivers\etc\services

What version are you using, 4.0 perhaps?

Why are you reinstalling from cd?

Maybe that your installed version of server.exe was the "hotfix" version that solves the problem described in KB 891518 ("Navision 4.0 server crashes after roles are assigned to users").

You should contact your MBS partner to get the newest hotfix for your version.

As far as i read the whole post, my opinion is that you need the professional care and support of an Spain MBS partner. If you have none, you should contact MBS Spain to find one.
