I created a job list and job card request template and added to group, defined tabs, fields etc.
If I show Job List Web Part, I want to click on job and then load job card for that job no. in another web part.
I have set up action as follows :
Type : Connect to another WP Request
Target WP Request : Other
Code : ‘JOBCARD’
Target Table No. : 167
Report ID :
Description : Job Card
Picture Code :
Field Validation Required : No
Show in Mode : View
HTML Layout : Link
Position Restrict to Editable : No
Caption : Card
Then I set up the source and target field filters for the job no. on the action filter field list.
When I click on the "Card" link in the job list web part, it does NOT load the linked Job Card in the other web part.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
have you linked the two web parts in SharePoint?
When configuring the List Web Part:
Connection -> Provide parameters to -> Card Web Part
OR
When configuring the Card Web Part:
Connection -> Consume parameters from -> List Web Part

Where do I configure the web part in Sharepoint? If I click on list web part, modify shared web part, I don't see option Connection - >Provide parameters to .
Please help.0 -
Hi,
"Modify Shared Webpart" and then not in the right Tool pane but on the web part itself in the top-right corner you have a triangle. There you can set the connection.
HTH,
