LS Retail should provide you with a fob to upgrade standard LS40 to LS40SP1.

This will work only if you don;t have done customisations at the customer. Otherwise you will have to merge the objects manualy using a text-compare tool like beyond compare or the Navision DevToolkit.

    Hi Mark!

    Thanks for the quick reply.

No there is no customisations done yet. But let say, I have an ls retail version installed on my PC and I need to upgrade to Nav4 sp1 ( while waiting people from Ls retail) , how do I manage my objects import from Nav4 SP1???

    Thanks

Then you will have to do the compare yourself with a comparetool

Export all objects modified by LS and compare them to 4SP1. The merged objects can be imported in the database.

This should be done by a technical engineer.

Please be careful what you do. The objects are not an update to the executable, they are actually the objects that contain the source code of the Navision functionality. If you import the SP1 objects into a Landsteinar database, more than likely you will destroy the LS functionality. You obviously don't know what you are doing (which is not a bad thing, there's tons of things I can't do :)), so you should really leave the object part up to a professional. I am sure that your solution center ot Landsteinar is more than willing to do this for you, for a fee of course.
