That's nearly correct.
You can have a scheduler without using a regular user session.
I think from Navision 3.x on, each license contains an additional session, which can not be occupiert by a "standard" user.
If you have 5 Session License, your license will show 6 Sessions.
The additional session is reserved for the use with Navision Application Server (NAS).
NAS is a client without an GUI.
When using NAS and a "Singe Instance Codeunit", you can build a scheduler, with is running as service on the DB-server and without occuping a user session.
We did this for quite a couple of customers allready and it work perfect.
