Error in 'Undo Shipment'

hi Guys,

i use a 'warehouse shipment' to ship the finished goods (require shipment = yes)
when i want to do 'undo shipment' (thru posted shipment, choose function > undo shipment), there is a message 'You can not undo line 1000, if warehouse receipt lines have been created'

I can do 'undo shipment' if i don't choose 'require shipment' in location set-up (means i ship thru sales order itself)

does anybody can solve my problem ? or...is this a bug (again) ?

    It depends on version that you are using. If it is 3.70, so it was declared, that this functionality does not exist :wink:

    I was able to unship when using full warehousing in 4.0 by doing this: first, delete the warehouse lines/documents. Next, go to the Shipment document (from the sales order) and you should be able to unship.

    i m using version 4.0

    Karen,
    i can do 'undo shipment' based on your suggestion, but when i want to do shipment from that sales order again, i must do thru 'sales order menu', can't do thru 'warehouse shipment'
    do u have any further suggestion ?

    Make sure that the registered pick (and lines) are deleted and the Posted Shipment (a warehouse shipment) and lines are deleted. I was able to re-create WHSE docs when all the information was gone. However, when I first tested this, I had not deleted the posted whse shipment line and was not able to re-create docs.

    Also move goods back to the bin where they have been received...

    Do It Yourself is they key. Standard code might work - your code surely works.
