Hide company name

Hi all,

I have two company in the same database. How can I hide the one of them when I run navision 4.0.

If I log in the navision with admin user, all companies must be appear but XXX or YYY user mustn't see the all companies.

Please help .. ](*,)

You cannot hide the companies, but you can deny access to an entire company via the user setup.

If you're giving the user only access to a certain company using the security roles, the user will only see the companies he is allowed to access to. At least as far as I remember! Didn't recheck this...

Yes, Nicole is right! If you do not have access to a company it is not visible in the list.

As I remember correctly, this doesn't work in 4.00 ... it does work in 4.00 SP1 (just tested).

@ Waldo: are you sure?!

One of our customer uses 4.00 (NOT SP 1) and the users only see the company they have access to. I didn't try once again but I'm actually quite sure about it..

Well, there are several builds of the 4.00SP0, so may be there is a difference... . I remember that in January this year we had some issues regarding the company-level security... .

It work also in 4.00.
The only problem (since 4.00 :twisted: ) When you first login as super and then as normal user with less right (same zup), you became an errormessage.
