hi,

i'm trying to make an account schedule that looks a bit like this

This Month Last Month
Row 1: Sales
Row 2: Stock Account

for row 1, i need net change for the month. for row 2, need to read balance at date.

seems i need to set on the column layout whether net change or balance at date where as i would need it at row level.

second issue. for row 1, i need to filter using global dimension code1 whereas for row 2, there should not be any filter

would appreciate your help a lot ](*,)

    Hi,

Set column layout in the following manner:

Column No. Column Header Column Type
1 Exp. for this month Net Change
2 Exp. upto end of this month Balance at date

and again if u want to filter the global dimensions in the account schdule
open the account schedule and give the filters in global dimensions field
and see the account schedule overview
whenever u change the date filter based on the date filter in the amount will automatically changed.

    hi ramesh,

i can't use the columns that you have suggested because in the same column no 1 i need net change for the my first row that i've set in my account schedule but for second row, i need column 1 to read balance at date.
i need to filter only row 1 by global dimension code. row 2 must not be filtered by global dimension code.

any suggestions how to do this without massive customisation? if suggesting customisation, any hints to make it less of a hassle

On the account Schedule Form, one of the fields is Called "CALCULATE".

This is an option field where you select the Type of Value you want to see in the Account Shedule whether Net Change, Beginning Balance, Ending Balance, etc.

This is Done at Row Level.
