hi,
what i need to do for put the period buttons in the matrix forms(like budgets)...i want to copy that functionality to another form, but the buttons dont work

They have a sourceexpression. You need to copy this (PeriodType) and the related functions (FindPeriod(SearchText : Code[10])).
