If you accepted all defaults during installation, your database server has probably been set up to use the TCPS nettype. This for some reason causes NAS to error out like that. Make sure that your database server uses TCP, and set your NAS to use TCP as well. Then make sure that the user that is set up in the logon tab of your NAS is a valid user in your Navision database and try again.

I believe your NAS "LOGIN2SHARE-CLASSIC" is Classic type which it will connecting to your Navision Server. I believe you have already configured your NAS parameters either using NAS MMC Snap window or command line upon NAS installation.
Please make sure you're intend to install the correct NAS type.

The error message that you have telling me the Navision server isn't responding or not available. Therefore you have to check if:
    1. the Navision Server is up and running,
    2. you provide Navision server name correctly in NAS parameters.
    3. whether you're using non default port no. on Navision server. if you do, please change your "protocol" system file to tell what port no to communicate with Navision Server.
    4. if you put the NAS and Navision Server in the different box, make sure isn't the networking problem. Such Navision Server name need to be defined, in system "host" file perhaps it's necessary, or rather to try using IP address as your Navision Server Name. etc.

for more detail, please refer to installation documentation PDF file which you can find it in Navision CD itself.

    good luck and have fun!
