findfirst, findlast, ... functions

hi,
i got the 3.70 installed on pc, and i copy the client of the 4.0...but, i can't find the findfirst, findlast and findset functions in 4.0, anybody knows why? i got to install the 4.0? i already try with a sql DB to.

Those functions have been introduced on 4.0 SP1 only. Previous clients do no support them.

for installing the SP 1 i need to have the 4.0 istalled wright? i only have the client on my machine.

no you need to uninstall 4.0 and install SP1. It'a diff client version. Sp1 doesn't mean you are installing on top of it, like for windows SP1.

Just to emphasize... Navision 4.0 Service Pack 1 comes with its own product cd. Just like with any other technical upgrade you need to uninstall the 'old' version and install the new one.

For now SP1 US version is only available in electronic form to download from partnersource and the actual cd will start shipping in January. The Spanish version might already be available on disk, ask your solution center or go to the MS website.
