Rename company in SQL Datebase

Hi all ;

I want to rename company in Navision SQL database. Navision occurs an error when I use rename company property. Is there another way about this ??

ERROR :
15249,"4200",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Error:Explicit @itemtype'INDEX' is unrecognized

Did somebody work directly on the Navision tables in SQL Server? I've done many company renames and never had any issues. These types of problems are usually when people work on the SQL Navision tables themselves.

Hi,

This is a known issue in Turkey. You get an error message while trying to rename company in SQL server option whether you did something manually with tables or not.

So open the database in native server and rename there. You can use backup and restore operations to transfer the database between native and SQL server.
