logo in the report

I view a lot of suggestions regarding inserting logo in the report. But when I try to do it, it sends me an error message "It is not a device independent BITMAP". What I do is 1. place a .bmp file in the c drive. 2. fill out two proerpties, bitmap and source expression. Why it happens? Thanks in advance!
