Is Navision is flexible to have more than one version?

Suppose we have made a customization in the customer card (NAVW14.00,NAVIN4.00) and we have delivered it to customer(NAVW14.00,NAVIN4.00,SYS1.0) and its working fine. After two or 3 days the customer wants to see the original version(NAVW14.00,NAVIN4.00). Is it possible in Navision?

Hi Sridhar,

Getting previous version is not possible in Navision, Especially when u have done customization to that database.

No, there is no such a functionality, you can only reimport your old version of the form from your backup... Of course, you can develop such a functionality through saving the BLOB field for the object, but this is risk and I do not recommand this for live system. May be it is ok for your devel environment...

I always keep a backup of objects that I overwrite on our Live system, as Mark says it's a procedure thing, not an automated thing.
