Office 2003 Service Pack 2 prevents mailing

Hi
The function NewMessage in Codeunit 397 stops working after installing Office 2003 SP2.
This is on Navision 4.0 SP1.
The function does not send an email and does not error.
Querying the object, the ErrorCode is 2690 An error has occurred while setting the UnRead value.

I have logged this with Microsoft.

If anybody knows a solution apart from uninstalling SP2 I would be greatful.

In the mean time, be warned.

the same applies with office 2007.

Try to use OLHandler.DLL from NAV 4.00SP3. Just copy it into NAV client folder and register by "regsvr32 OLHandler.DLL".

Hello,
in Navision client folder you have OLHandler.dll library.
Open command prompt (Windows taskbar->Start->Run, type cmd and push enter). Now got to your Navision client folder where OLHandler.dll is.
Type there regsvr32 OLHandler.DLL
If you still have problems - write error message please.

Its giving not able to register. Memory refrence error it is throwing by giving the memory address 0X88888

Norton Antivirus has been installed. I am having some problem with that also.

Try to uninstal Symantec product and try then. Or if it is possible - disable it before registering library.
