Print Error

I have a problem here. Sometimes when I try to print the sales order, the system will send me an error message and automatially goes to the login windows. Then I relogin the system and try to print the same sales order, the system does it again. Until I restart the computer I can print the sales order. Does anyone konw why it happens? Is it a hardware problem? Thanks in advance!

You might try to narrow it down, does it do it only when you are printing to a certain printer, maybe your print driver is crashing the system, I have had an instance where I had printed a report to a fax printer, then went to print a different item in Navision, it would try to send to the fax printer since it was the last printer I had used, which got me stuck in a loop since the fax printer was waiting for a phone number and the sale invoice had nothing to feed.

Actually there's no detail erro message and the system prompt me to log in again. This often happens when I try to print preview or print the sales order.

Oh O forgot to tell you that when I move to the other computer, the sales order can be printed out. So it's not the printer's problem, is it right?

If you have narrowed it down to a specific workstation then you can pretty much eliminate that it's the printer.

But now you have to look at the Print Drivers on that one machine.
Maybe something is corrupted. You can always try to uninstall & reinstall that printer on that one machine - updating the driver of course. & see if that solves your problem.

If you're not too attached to your zup file - you might want to delete that. We had one machine here acting up & for some reason that solved it's problem.

Did this one machine ever print correctly or is this just something new? Then you can look at whatever updates or changes have been made to that one machine recently.
