Importing serial items data into Navision

I need some ideas from you.

1 . To import data ( Serialised items ) into Navision , what are the required steps?

What you need to do? Import some starting inventory state with serial nos.? If yes, you need to fill item journal with new line for each serial no. and item no. and add the necessary reservation entry for this line.
