I was wondering what's the Navision licencing issue using
e-commerce package like WebShop and WebCom.

Can you have 200 concurrent users entering orders
into the web based application without having a 200 user NF licences ?

Does this means that both WebShop and WebCom sit on SQL DB and
there's a data replication mechanism between SQL and the Navision
Database.

I only know the webcom site of the story, but there you only need 1 license.
All the user requests are channeld to a com object, witch communicates directly via cfront with the navision database.
So when you enter a new order, its directly available in the navision salesorder.

On the other site ofcourse, if you have 500 webusers, you can't get a reliable speed if you channel everything via the same pipeline. You can smpit it up over different pipelines, but for each pipeline you need a userlicense.
