Database Read-Write Error

SoumyadipSoumyadip Member Posts: 209
Hi All,

When I am tryin to create anything in my database it is generating an error that "Anymore Read or Write Transaction is not allowed".
I am using a database in which 40% of the space is still empty. The Commit Cache & Object Cache is the default. I have sufficient RAM in my machine.
Why this error is coming up?

Regards,

Soumya

Do you use a CRONUS company/license?

Sorry, but still I think you are using cronus license. You are connecting some server? Native or MS SQL?

It might be because the company name starts with 'Cronus'.

I don't think so, I have all Cronus-DB's on my system. All of them with the developers license. I have them in case there is a problem and I want to check if the standard has the same problem to be sure it is a customization problem. So I do a lot of read/writes in them and I have never had that error.
So I also think it is the Cronus-license.

Yep I do exactly the same and I have never run into that problem either, but I have never run into that problem at all. I have seen it once during a training session, and twive or three times at a customer who was playing around with the Cronus database. I know that some logic inside Navision depends on the Cronus name, and I was wondering if that was the case here.

I still think it would be worthwhile to try to rename the company.
