Better text editor

Is there any way to get a better text editor integrated in Navision?

I am thinking about one that offers features like:

* Coloured code.
* Line numeration.
* Overview of all code related to a report, so you don't have to check sections and data items separately.

The code viewer in MSB Developer's Toolkit has most of these features, but it seems to only be a viewer and not a proper editor.

I am new to Navision so please excuse me if this is a stupid question.

Any help appreciated.

I think the first Windows C/AL editor came out in like 1996 or something, and the day after it came out this question was asked, and has been ignored ever since. I am afraid that it will not get any better until possibly the big integrated Dynamics products, although nobody at MS will commit to anything, because they don't know for sure either.
