SQL 2005 Executables only?

I am currenty running 3.60 for SQL 2000. I still have some 2.60E db objects from a previous upgrade. I want to upgrade to 4.0 sp1 so I can use SQL 2005. Can I merely restore my 3.60 db to a 4.0sp1 db, like I did when moving from 2.60E to 3.60? Do my db objects need to be upgraded as well? We have several customizations that were developed in 2.60E that we can't afford to lose.
Can I run 4.0 sp1 with SQL 2005 64bit or just 32bit?

I am pretty sure that both 32 and 64bit are supported, but there are some gotchas in the extended SP's if I remember correctly. It should also be possible to do a technical upgrade, but I haven't been involved in any to say for sure if there are any unsurmountable problems.
