Hi,
There are a lot of times when I restore the backup file only tables are restored. These databases are not huge. They are about 4 to 6G. None of the forms, reports, dataports, and codeunits is restored although the system says "Restore is successful." By using the same backup file there are times the restored database has tables, forms, reports dataports and codeunits, but there are times the restored database only has tables. Any ideas?
I am doing an upgrade which needs to backup and restore a 3.6 database with 4.0G. The Upgrade guide says alternatively I can open a copy of the existing database with new 4.0 client and convert it. However, this database has been split into two files into 2 separate drives. How can I copy the database instead of backup and restore?
Thanks for help!

1) Backup was done without objects
2) Restore is done without restoring objects
3) Restore is done into database, where are some object imported (some objects, which is not automatically created after creating blank database)
