I want to know if given a user who enters navision 4,0 we can know if
he has access to all the companies that there are in the program or
not.

If they are possible to be defined some filter so that it does not see
certain companies I would like to know where it is possible to be
defined those filters and where they are stored.

You can add the companyname to the user-rights. Leaving the companyname blank means the user has access to all companies.

So if a user cannot see 1 company and you have 100 companies in your DB, you have to make 99 entries (1 for each company he can use).
And the companies in which he has no role, he won't even see in his list of companies.
