How navision copy record to its history record

I met 1 question about copy record to history record in my last exam
There is a copy method for record in help file
However, I find that most of the copy record action in navision is doing copying field by field.
Anyone know which is standard method to copy record to history record?

TRANSFERFIELDS is the common way to create historical documents. (Sales/Purchase)

Ledger entries are created field by field.

You can use COPY only for two variables of the same type and subtype (i.e. of the same table). To copy for instance information to a sales invoice record, you use TRANSFERFIELDS. The catch is though, that the fields you want to be copied must have the same number and type, or Navision will ignore them. If the fields don't have the same number, you have to transfer the data one field at a time.

And remember TRANSFERFIELDS gives an error if the field numbers are the same but the fieldtypes are different.
