Strange problem!!!

Hello all!!!

I've just received the licence file for my client, and when I imported this file to Navision, and tried to open General Journals form, following error showed up: "You do not have permission to read the Change Log Setup table"? What can be wrong? Is there a problem with my licence file or somethig else?

Best regards

You have used your developers licence and switched on the Change log. Even if you switch it off prior to loading the clients licence, navision still tries to use it, hence the message.

Are you loading your customer license on their database or on a Cronus database? The problem with loading your customer's license in a Cronus database is that the Cronus database has data in just about every functional area.

You're going to have to load your developer license and delete the data that is causing errors, and then load your customer license again. Then repeat this step as long as you keep getting those errors, until you can open your customer's database and use all functionality that they bought.

For that specific error, you have to delete the record in table 402:"Change Log Setup". This record is created when you run form 592:"Change Log Setup".
