hi all,

Anytime I use Search Web Part I get the following message in Web Part:


Navision error (10500): This message is for C/AL programmers: Could not invoke the member appendChild. The OLE control or Automation server returned an unknown error code.

I have set it to search customer table, searching name, and returning number, and name.

Any ideas much appreciated

    Go to Administration > Application Setup > Employee Portal > Users

    Click on a user

    Click the users button down the bottom and choose > Search Configuration.
    in here you need to put:

    The table your searching > 18
    The EP Group Code > Sales
    The WP Request Code > CUSTOMERCARD
    The WP Request type > Card (Might autofill)
    Target Link > somepage.aspx (The actual web page that will hold the webpart that will be filled by the returned information)
