Navision ODBC 4.0 or 2.0 ?

I expected lots of imporvements from the new release.
I am having lots of problems with things tha worked on 3.7.
Maybe by mistake version 2.0 was shipped, instead.
With ODBC 3.7 you colud run the query:
SELECT Description FROM Item WHERE "Commercial Status"=2 AND "StartDateFilter"='<=24112005'
where "StartDateFilter" is a flow filter on the item table.
Did anybody understand par A.13 of ODBC Driver 4.0 Guide
