Have there been any Chinese language implementation in Navision - How is it done- I am specifically interested in implementation issues in Chinese for Navision with SQL database and whether Microsoft support Chinese Language characters and/or UNicode

Yes Navision Supports double byte characters. You need to contact Solution center in china, who have a modified Finsql.exe that can handle chinese characters.
